I have studied beauty therapy for the last three years, and am now a qualified Nail Technician and Beauty Therapist.

I started my studying on a short course at Hayfield School in Doncaster, with an OCN in Manicure and Nail Art.  I enjoyed it so much; I just had to carry on, so I decided to look into further courses at Doncaster College and applied for the VTCT Nail Technician and Nail Art course.

The VTCT course was made up of four parts; these were Health and Safety, Manicure Nail Extensions and Nail Art.

I enjoyed this course even more than the first, and I knew I just had to carry on broadening my horizons. On completion of this course it made me realize that I could go further and learn other fields in beauty therapy, and that’s when I decided to apply for the VTCT Cosmetic Make-up course.

This covered Health and Safety, Eyebrow Shaping, Eyelash and Brow Tinting, Eyelash Perming, Preparation of the skin and Application of Make-up.
